I hate losing, but…’, Adesanya breaks silence after shocking defeat

1 min read

Nigerian-born New Zealand fighter Israel Adesanya has finally broken his silence over his shocking belt loss to Sean Strickland of the United States of America.

In a surprising turn of events, Adesanya, who was earlier tipped to win the fight, was defeated by Strickland after the American landed more powerful punches on Adesanya.

Despite the defeat, Nigerians have continued to send him positive messages on social media, saying that he will bounce back even stronger.

Reacting to the defeat via a video posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Adesanya said losing is something he so much disdains.

According to him, having his family right by his side at this crucial moment is the most important thing.

He, however, disclosed that he will properly address the people at a later time but needs to put himself first for now.
